Bathing Kineth

Simple RP on a Saturday.

Jaegon arrives, dressed for swimming, with Menev perched on his
shoulder.

Elen is sat just under one of Kineth's wings...already dressed suitably
for bathing.

Jaegon chuckles. "Morning, Elen!" Menev chirps a greeting, already as
social as his pet for all his ferocious demeanor.

Elen lifts her head and waves to Jae. "See you have the same ideas as
me..."

You say "Sure do. Why should Menev have all the fun? Besides, today is a
restday for me."

Elen stands up slowly, heading for the water. "Rest days are good."

Kineth dips his head to look at Jaegon and his Firelizard.

You say "Going to give Kineth a good bath? He looks like he's been
dustrolling again." Jae grins up at the blue and pats his muzzle. "Or did
you just have sweeps over the desert this morning?"

Kineth nudges the young man carefully, a little dust flying off him. Elen
giggles. "A combination of the two, he is always getting messy." She
nods. "You got it, bath time."

Menev flits up from Jaegon's shoulder, darts out over the water, and
dives in. Jae offers "Need help?"

Kineth gives a rumble and moves into the water.

Elen smiles warmly. "Oh you would not mind? I must say help is always
needed, he may be blue, but there is still alot of hide."

You say "I learned to swim helping bathe Ladonyth and Hollerith."

Jaegon grins, dropping his towel and heading for the water. "Besides, we
can teach Menev how to scrub ridges. He's smart enough to learn already."

Elen grins. "Well course you did, you have bathed many more dragons than
I ever did." She ehads for the water, at a half run.
Elen runs into the water with a splash!

Igen Lake
The Igen lake is suprisingly warm for a mountain lake! The water is very
blue, and as you swim away from the shore, it becomes very deep. You
notice the slightest taste of minerals in the water, but it is not
unpleasant. The cliffs to the north plunge directly into the deep water.
There are several natural ledges at various places along them.
The main beach lies to the southeast, while the northern, more secluded
beach is to the northeast.

Kineth curls his tail around to give a friendly spash to the two humans.

Jaegon dives in and surfaces next to Kineth. "Ahhhhh! I needed that!"
Whatever else he was going to say is cut off as he ducks under again to
avoid the splashing.

Elen giggles and splashes back at the blue for all the good it will do.
"Kineth!" She rolls her eyes towards Jae. "Hope you are ready for this."

Jaegon grins and grabs Kineth's tail. "HAH! Gotcha."

Kineth grunts and swings the tail, though carefully not using all his
power of Jae would be flat on his back, and start to swing the young man
too and fro gently.

Jaegon is easier to move around in the water, and wrestles that tail with
a whoop, laughing. "Hah! You can't escape! I've got your tail!"

Elen sinks into the water up to her neck. "Oh dear...seems he now has a
playmate has daft as he is!"

Kineth trumpets, wrestling still with Jae, water splashing all over the
place.

Jaegon is strong enough to hold on for a while, but wet dragonhide can
get slippery and he gets tossed away into the water with a sploosh. He
surfaces and shakes water from his hair, face red with exertion but a
huge grin all over it.

Elen treadswater, not far from Jae. "Oh my, you should see your grin!"
She chuckles. "Think we are bathing you and not the blue lump?"

Kineth curls his head around to peer at Jae and check he is okay, a soft
rumblechuckle emerging from his throat.

Jaegon swims over to Kineth and wraps his arms around the blue's chest as
far as he can reach, grinning. "Hey, who says he has to have all the
fun?" He thumps Kineth affectionately.

Kineth nudges the man on the back gently and whuffs on his head. Elen
looks at the pair fondly. "Oh dear, now you are pampering ot his ego...he
thinks he has a bath toy for life."

You say "It's all right. He's already got one, one more won't hurt.
Besides, he looks blue now where he got splashed, instead of like a small
brown."

Elen chuckles. "Oo, seems you are able to hurt that ego too, not sure he
likes being thought alittle brown." Kineth gives a very sad sounding
croon.

You say "C'mere, you, let me restore that hide to its natural color.
You're beautiful, Kineth!" Jae hugs the big chest again, and whispers
"Besides, don't let Tivuketh know I said so, but your markings are
prettier than his."

Elen smiles and swims over towards Jaegon. "Now I can understand why all
the ladies hang around you, you have a silver tongue." Kineth is almost
preening, head going to get too big for his weyr at this rate.

You say "I do not!" Then he dives down to get some sand and comes up
grinning. "But I did think about being a harper when I was small."

Elen splashes at jae. "Oh sure, like asll your fans are just a mirage?"
She winks. "A harper huh?"

Jaegon nods, smearing sand on Kineth's hide and scrubbing. "But I can't
carry a tune in a basket. I've got an all right voice, but nothing to
brag on, and I can't read music."

Kineth croons more than happy at the arttention, Elen moving to do his
other side. "Well I have never heard you tey Jae." States Elen. "I have
to say I am appalling at singing."

You say "I'd rather watch you dance."

Elen flushes pink and ducks under Kineth's nearside wing. "I wil pretend
you meant Kinny..."

Jaegon blinks. "Why?"

Elen is a very shy perdon at times and stays hiding. "Well, I can be,
well...clumsy."

You say "By whose standards?"
Jaegon pauses in his scrubbing of Kineth to lean on him and listen to
you.

Elen peeks around her blue's curious chest to smile shyly. "My own dear."

Jaegon snorts. "Yet again, being too hard on yourself. I love to watch
you."

Elen chuckles. "You are the first person to ever suggest that its worth
watching...I think my first comments on you were true." She idly scrubs
Kineth. "Why does everyone say I am hard on myself, I am merely
realistic."

You say "There's a difference between realistic and pessimistic, dear
one."

Jaegon goes back to scrubbing.

Elen laughs lightly. "I am not that bad, I know I do have a few, well
kind of skills. Even I say I /like/ dancing.."

You say "Do you toss dance?"

Elen chuckles. "I have done...why?"

You say "I'd love to dance with you in a toss dance next gather we go
to."

Elen chuckles. "Oh my...you are daring. Consider you on my dance card!
D'ew will never dance with me."

You say "D'ew doesn't know what he's missing, then."

Elen laugsh! "Now you sound just like Siara, she still says D'ew is
boring."

You say "Boring? No. Sometimes oblivious."

Elen smirks. "Oh even I would agree to that...he just hates dancing."

You say "You'd think a greenrider'd be a bit looser."

Elen starts to scrub Kineth a little harder for some reason. "Jae, this
is only the dancing we are discussing, I think well, D'ew is looser in
other respects."

Jaegon chuckles. "I wouldn't know, though sometimes I've been tempted to
find out." He tries to keep the conversation to a lighter note.

Elen laughs! "Jae! You say that in front of dear D'ew and you will be
whisked up to our weyr quicker than you can say proddy1"

Jaegon admits "I know, it's why I've been afraid to."

Elen smiles. "Then again, well, that D'ew of old as it where is sometimes
blown out of all proportion. Sometimes, well, people forget..." She
breaks off.

You say "Forget...what?"

Elen looks you right in the eye. "Well, that there is me too." She
blushes. "Hard to always be dependable Elen."

Jaegon says softly "I was hoping you'd join in, if it ever happened."

Kineth senses "Jaegon is trying to keep some strong emotions in check."

Elen blinks. "You have not been talking to Fah have you?"

Kineth lets out a very soft rumble.

Jaegon shakes his head. "I don't tend to, he always assumes things about
me. Why?" He doesn't seem to see a connection.

Elen looks a little uncomfortable. "Well, its just well known that...I
well seduced him for D'ew." She goes BRIGHT red.

Jaegon blinks and shakes his head. "I never heard that, Elen. Why are you
blushing?" He pats Kineth.

Kineth croons again and leans agianst the young man in a friendly way.

Elen pats at her cheeks with cool water. "As, well I do not do that kind
of thing..."

You say "Did you enjoy it?"

Elen looks coy. "I might have." She smiles. "Better than other
things..."

Jaegon scrubs around closer to you. "Yeah? Hope D'ew appreciated it!"

Elen smiles nervously. "Indeed, he did...as did Fah, infact he liked it
most probably. He well, him and Siara ever since I lost the flight that
time..." She is gibbering.

Jaegon stops scrubbing and takes you into a hug, letting you talk.

Elen hugs you back gingerly and gently. "I well, apparently did a sritp
tease in the living cavern and eneded up with Siara and Fah..or so they
say."

Elen gives Kineth another really big scrub.

Jaegon's arms are strong and reassuring. He doescast a glance up to
Kineth to see how he's taking it. Then when you turn away, he releases
you, with a small sigh.

Kineth is looking at jae, with softly whirling eyes. He is a little
concerned about his rider, but not overly.

Elen sighs a little. "Do not mind me, I am an old fool at times."

Jaegon looks up at Kineth thoughtfully, then firmly takes you in his
arms again.

Elen sighs again and settles in your embrace. "Boring is useually the
right word to use about me.."

Jaegon silences you with a kiss.

Kineth lets out a very, very soft reasurring rumble, probably to both of
you.

Elen blinks, taken aback by the kiss...she does not pull back but is not
exactly relaxed.

Jaegon pulls back after a second, his green eyes alight but not blazing.
"I never thought you were boring, Elen." He strokes back a wet lock of
hair from your cheek.

Elen has to blink again and take stock. "No, well, I think perhaps I
take thinsg ot heart to much." Her own green eyes twinkle. "Perhaps I
like to hide under that word."

Jaegon touches his forehead to yours. "I think so. But I don't find you
that way at all."

Elen starts to be a little less uptight, letting an arm encircle your
waist. "I think I am pleased..."

Jaegon kisses you gently and murmurs "Are you cold?"

Elen rubs her nose softly against yours. "Not yetm but if I stay here I
wll be."

You say "Me too. Think Kineth's clean enough for now?"

Elen smiles and nods. Kineth himself lest you both know he can stay
splashing here anyway. "More than dear."

Jaegon nods, and guides you out of the water to a more private and
secluded spot.

Elen silently follows you.
