Ariane flushes a little but keeps going. "Kata told me this might happen." Bla'ine looks over at her. "What might happen?" You say "That I'd realize that someone was special to me. I wonder how she knew." Bla'ine smiles and turns to look out at the lake. "Some people just seem to know everything." he shrugs. You say "Am I even allowed to like yoou?" You say "I mean. I'm a candidate." Bla'ine blushes a bit. "I think it's okay.. I mean, they've never stopped people before.. unless they impressed.. so when you impress, we'll probably not get to see too much of each other for a while." You say "Are you going to be helping with the weyrlings?" She can't hide her disappointment. "I was hoping you would." Bla'ine shrugs a bit. "I've not been asked yet." he replies softly. "I don't want to disrupt training.." You say "But then I'd get to see you." Ariane murmurs under her breath "I hope.." Bla'ine can't help but smile a bit.. he turns and looks over at you. "Me too.." You say "I've never felt this way about anyone before. I was always, well, I felt too busy." Bla'ine watches her as they sit on the lake.. so peaceful this time of day. He smiles softly at her. "Me neither.. I had almost begun to think that maybe there wasn't anyone out there for me.. until you came along.." Ariane asks "How old are you?" Bla'ine smiles. "17 turns.. Ariane blinks. "You are? You seem older." She recalibrates, and likes what she sees. Bla'ine blinks too.. "I do?" He had never thought of himself as seeming older.. Ariane nods. "With your dragon, and you fight and all." Bla'ine nods, ohhing softly. "Well.. I think most of that has to do with Blur back there. He's a rather confident dragon and I think a bit of that rubs off on me.. You say "Can I meet him someday?" Bla'ine smiles and nods. "Sure.. anytime you like.. I can even give you a ride, if you want. You say "I've only ridden the once, coming here. I guess I should try to get used to the idea I might be doing it more, some day?" Bla'ine turns and looks at her. "Especially.. if you're planning on staying.. " he hopes. You say "If I don't Impress, you mean?" Bla'ine nods, not actually meaning it like that when he first said it.. but realizing that, indeed what was it ended up meaning. You say "I'm posted here. This is where I'm to stay unless I get reposted." Bla'ine nods slowly, /that/ wasn't what he meant at all. "I guess so." Ariane lets a smaile bloom, and shyly takes your hand. "Can't you just hear me protesting?" she teases. Bla'ine looks down at the hands, and smiles at that. "I wouldn't want to force myself on you.." he teases back, squeezing the hands softly. Ariane blinks, and then giggles. "I was about to say the same thing!" Bla'ine laughs. "About me forcing myself on you?" You say "No..about ME forcing myself on YOU." Bla'ine chuckles. "Maybe we could just both be a bit.. forceful.." he blushes as he realizes how that may sound.. Ariane takes a deep breath. "Well, if you insist.." and she leans up and kisses you. Not well, she's got almost no experience short gather kissing booths, but.. Bla'ine blinks at the kiss, as it was totally unexpected.. but he soon returns it softly. He's rather inexperienced himself, but he gently places a hand up against your cheek.. Ariane pulls back after a moment, eyes dark and wide. She smiles a bit shakily. "Was that forceful enough?" Bla'ine blinkblinks after she pulls back. "It was.. wonderful.." he murmers softly, a blush still touching at his cheeks.. You say "Does Blurth mind?" Bla'ine thinks for a moment, as the silence of the lake is heard.. he then smiles and shakes his head. "No.. he doesn't mind at all.." Ariane relaxes, her shoulders slumping from a tension she hadn't even realized. "Good.." Bla'ine umms. "But.. he wants to know if we'll do it again real soon." Ahem. Blame it on the dragon. Ariane buys it. "He does? Why?" she asks curiously. Bla'ine smiles. "Because I liked it so much the first time.." he murmers. Ariane leans in again and kisses you, more sure of herself this time. Can't disappoint a dragon, that's not nice.. Bla'ine moves his arm around your waist and returns the kiss softly. Ariane is shaking, you realize. Shakig hard. Bla'ine pulls back and looks worried. "Are you alright?" Ariane nods, smiling. "Fine...I'm fine." Bla'ine tilts his head. "You're shaking.. " Ariane nods..."I don't mean to.." Bla'ine looks concerned. "Are you sure you're okay with this? I mean.. Ariane nods. "It's just all new. I get shaky when I do new things." Bla'ine scoots a bit closer. "Just something you'll have to get used to? Ariane nods..smiling a bit more. Bla'ine puts his arm around her and smiles. "Me too.. though, I don't think that'll take very long.."
